# Spaces

> Use docs, tables, and workflow pages in the app space.

The main app is organized around spaces. Each space contains docs and tables saved as local content
files in the repo.

## Browse the sidebar

Use the left sidebar to switch between spaces and documents. The seeded demo spaces include
personal, professional, creative, home, and travel examples. These are sample documents for proving
the space shell, editor, and table views.

## Edit docs

Docs and workflow pages open in a rich Markdown editor. They autosave after a short pause. You can
switch between rich preview and source view from the page menu.

The sidebar create menu shows Doc, Table, and Workflow. Doc and Workflow create Markdown pages; Table
creates an editable table page.

Useful editor behavior:

* Type `/` to insert commands.
* Type `@` for references and inline commands.
* Add plain text instructions for workflow page runs.
* Add IF, ELSE IF, and ELSE blocks when you need branches.

## Use tables

Table documents show editable rows from the document frontmatter. You can search, sort, add rows, and
delete rows. Like docs, tables autosave back to local content files.

## Run a workflow

On a workflow page, click Run to send the instructions into a workflow run. The app saves any pending
changes first, queues the run, and opens the chat view with a run status panel.

The status panel shows the run state, timeline, evaluation, and a link back to the source page. This
is currently the easiest browser-visible way to follow a page run.
